Perimeter of All Blocks

The length of a community’s blocks determine the effectiveness of the street network.  A system of interconnected streets is the basic framework for a successful walkable community. The goal in a traditional neighborhood is to have easily discernible blocks, such as it is easy to know who all lives on your block and it is easy to tell children boundaries, for riding their bike, for instance.
