Club Pilates is coming to Wexford!!!

Their team would like to offer members of the community an opportunity to get to know what Club Pilates is all about.

Friday April 27th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

They will be offering a Free Mat Pilates Class at the Marshall Township Municipal Building, Lower Level.

All you need to bring is a mat, towel, water, and be ready to work out. This class is for all levels so anyone is welcome to attend.

Vicki Wiegand from Shenots Farm will be offering a fun workshop planting your own little herb garden in a planter.  You can place it on your front dooryard or on the deck, where it’s easy to access when you are cooking meals.  Participants will be provided a planter, soil, young herb plants and everyone will leave the workshop with it all planted and ready to grow!  Vicki will also give tips on growing herbs, cooking with them, and storing them for winter use.

Please register by June 1st so Vicki can get enough materials.

Attention all future archeologists! We are going to hunt for dinosaurs! Join us for this 45-minute interactive session where we will be cracking through rocks to uncover miniature dinosaurs. Children will have a blast uncovering what is lurking within their rocks. Please bring a small hammer and protective eye wear from home. For this program to be successful, a minimum of 10 participants is required. Best for ages  3 to 6 years.

The Joint Recreation Board of  Marshall Township, Bradford Woods, Franklin Park, and the Town of McCandless are sponsoring three separate programs for children of those communities. Applications for these programs are available at the Marshall Township Municipal Building or below. They will also be distributed through the North Allegheny Schools.

This four week program is held at Franklin Elementary, McKnight Elementary, Knob Hill Park and other locations. It is offered from 8:45 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for students who have completed the first grade. This program includes arts and crafts, team sports and group recreation.

Fee: $135.00 for 4 week program.

Looking for an exciting activity for the family? Along with adult classes, the Yoseikan Karate Dojo now offers children ages 6-12 a fun, physical and challenging learning experience. Students will have the opportunity to learn traditional martial arts and basic self-defense training and awareness in a safe and encouraging environment. Classes focus on interactive exercises and drills that encourage concentration, discipline and overall coordination for all skill levels to help students improve in the martial arts as well as other sports activities.
