Southbound Route 19 Perry Highway Improvements this Weekend in Marshall Township
Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing paving work on southbound Route 19 (Perry Highway) in Marshall Township, Allegheny County will occur Friday night through Sunday night, June 29-July 1 weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions will occur on southbound Route 19 from 9 p.m. Friday night continuously through 6 p.m. Sunday between Freeport Road and Shenot Road/Northgate Road. Crews from Lindy Paving will conduct paving operations. No closures will occur on the I-79 ramps.
The work is part of the $9.49 million project to improve Route 19. The project also includes concrete curb ramp installation, base repairs, concrete pavement rehabilitation, guiderail improvements, signage upgrades, signal work, pavement marking installation, and other miscellaneous construction.
